This website sets no cookies
If you are simply reading this website, it gives your browser no cookies at all. We checked every page. There is no analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixel and no social media button anywhere on the site.
The typefaces used here are served from our own server rather than from Google Fonts, so reading the site involves no request to Google.
The one exception
Videos of the Society’s own events are hosted on this website and set nothing. Where a page embeds video from YouTube we use YouTube’s no-cookie service, so opening the page does not place advertising or tracking cookies. Pressing play hands you over to YouTube, which may then set its own cookies under Google’s privacy policy.
Do you need to consent?
Because we set no cookies for visitors and do nothing that requires consent under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, this site does not show a cookie banner. If the Society later adds analytics, advertising or social media embeds, a consent banner will be required and this page will change first.
Controlling cookies yourself
Every major browser lets you see, block and delete cookies from its settings or privacy menu. Blocking cookies will not stop you reading this site.
