Oleksandr Symonenko, Academic Consultant to the Greek-Scythian Society CIC

Oleksandr Symonenko holds a Doctor habilitatus degree in archaeology and is a Corresponding Member of the German Archaeological Institute. He is the author and co-author of 11 books and more than 200 articles on Sarmatian, Late Scythian and Roman archaeology.

As a field archaeologist he is a well-known specialist in the excavation of barrows and burial grounds, and has taken part in 40 excavation campaigns in Ukraine, Moldova and Hungary.
